1. Information We Collect
We collect your HandCash handle, display name, and avatar when you authenticate. We store encrypted copies of uploaded files and associated metadata.
2. How We Use Information
- Authenticate your identity via HandCash OAuth
- Store and manage your sheet music scores and rights
- Facilitate contracts between platform users
- Inscribe metadata on the Bitcoin SV blockchain (public)
3. Blockchain Data
When you mint a score or sign a contract, metadata (title, composer, hash, your handle) is inscribed on the Bitcoin SV blockchain. This data is permanent and publicly verifiable. File contents are NOT stored on-chain.
4. Data Storage
Encrypted files and user data are stored on our self-hosted database infrastructure. Files are encrypted before storage using end-to-end encryption.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your data. We share data only as required: with counterparties in contracts you create, and with blockchain networks for inscription.
6. Your Rights
You can request deletion of your account data. Note that blockchain inscriptions are permanent and cannot be removed.
7. Security
We use end-to-end encryption, ECDH key agreement, and AES-256-GCM for file encryption. Server-side data is encrypted at rest.
8. Contact
For privacy inquiries, contact us through the Platform.
